Quick 3 am posts... :))
Understandably, clients sometimes worry about their privacy ... Let's talk about how your personal info is protected when you book a session with me...
Contrary to what many people may think, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) isn’t exclusive to big businesses. It applies to anyone who handles personal data, and that includes sole traders. So, as an independent masseuse, I’m legally required to handle your data responsibly, securely, and with transparency. It doesn’t matter if you’re booking a luxury spa appointment or a private massage session; the same regulations apply across the board!
Your Information Is Safe with Me
In my practice, I prioritise confidentiality above all. I’m not interested in using your details for any reason other than to keep a professional record and make sure I’m prepared for our sessions. I’ve worked with numerous VERY high-profile clients, and privacy isn’t just a requirement—it’s a principle. Sharing or misusing your data would go against both my professional ethics and business values.
When Is Sharing Data Necessary?
There are only a few cases when I might share information, and it’s always within legal or ethical boundaries. For example, if a client’s behavior crosses boundaries or becomes threatening, I may have to document and report such instances to ensure everyone’s safety. So - if you are a well behaved human being, rest assured that I will NEVER disclose any of your personal information with anyone.
Hope this helps ease your mind!
